Account and billing

Understand Monologue plans and manage billing through the correct purchase source.

Check your current access

On Mac, open Settings → Plan & Billing. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Subscription. The app shows the access currently attached to your signed-in Monologue account.

Access shown What it means
Free You are using Monologue without an active paid entitlement. The app shows any current usage allowance.
Pro You have an individual paid subscription.
Every Bundle Your Monologue access comes from an eligible Every subscription.
Team Your organization gives you Pro access.

Plan availability and limits can change. Use the plan screen in the app as the source of truth for your account.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Where you manage billing depends on the purchase source shown in the app:

  • Apple App Store: Select Manage in the iPhone or iPad app, or open your Apple subscriptions. Apple handles the charge, receipt, cancellation, and refund request.
  • Direct Monologue purchase: Select Manage subscription in Plan & Billing to open the billing portal.
  • Every Bundle: Select Manage subscription to open your Every account.
  • Team: A team admin manages billing. Members should contact their admin; admins can open the team billing page from Plan & Billing.

Canceling one purchase source does not automatically cancel another. If you see more than one charge, first confirm the Apple ID, Monologue account email, and receipt associated with each purchase.

Changing plans or purchase sources

Review the price, renewal date, and effective date shown by Apple or in the billing portal before confirming a change. Do not assume unused time, credits, or refunds will transfer between Apple, Monologue, Every, or a team plan.

If you need to move between purchase sources or think the wrong account was charged, contact support before buying again. Include the Monologue account email and the purchase source, but do not send a full card number, password, or verification code.
